Whether it’s presenting the news on TV, getting that voice over done in studio, MCing with flair or putting the proverbial pen to paper in a variety of copy styles from news to editorial, Louise remains a storyteller at heart, whose passions are fed by travel.
She holds a BCom degree (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, before having graduated with a BA in Drama from the esteemed Toneelacademie Maastricht in the Netherlands. This was followed by national tours in the Netherlands of theatre productions by Het Syndicaat and Het Zuidelijk Toneel.
Louise also holds an MSc degree in Business Studies (cum laude) specialising in the cultural industries from the University of Amsterdam.
Back in South Africa she’s part of the Afrikaans Television news team at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC).
Raised in a multi-lingual home, she is fluent in English, Afrikaans, Dutch and German.
